Fun with hair, since high school days
Hair City is a downtown Ashland salon where the stylists work as a team, trading favorite techniques and trying new things. Somebody is always creating something, which keeps it fun for everyone in the chair.
Kevin Huggins, Mona Bernard and Georgene Crowe have been having “Fun with Hair” as far back as their high school days, and have spent the last ten years creating hair art together at Hair City.
The goal is simple: make your hair experience easy. Come in on your day off for your best haircut yet, or for highlights and color that actually match you.

Haircuts and styling
Cuts and styles for short, medium and long hair, including children’s haircuts and bang trims.
Barber cuts and beard trims
Classic barber cuts, neck trims and beard shaping from our barber’s chair.
Color and highlights
Full color, retouches, accents, partial and full highlights, with a complimentary color consultation.
Balayage and creative color
Balayage, platinum, creative color and color correction for bigger changes.
Formal and bridal styling
Updos, formal styles and bridal hair, plus shampoo and style or a curl and flat iron finish.
Perms and smoothing
Perms for added texture, or a Brazilian Blowout to smooth things out.

Hair City got so busy, with so many requests for nails and skin services, that we opened a second location right downtown to handle the extra spa services. Come spend the whole day with us.

Great Shape! Inc.
Great Shape! stands on a strong foundation of family, whether you’re biological or not. Co-founders Myrtle Franklin, Georgene Crowe and Gretchen Lee are such long-time devoted friends that they call each other sister, and hundreds have joined their family.
The three kept their day jobs as they raised money, dreamed big and invested every spare hour serving those in need, in their home towns and in the Caribbean. Their children serve Great Shape!, and their children’s children volunteer. We are mighty.
